Im 46 years old and I’ve been coming to Holly now for over 6 years. When I first came in, I could not get off my couch and was in extreme amounts of pain up and down my neck and back. I have a ruptured L5S1, 2 herniated discs in the center of my bock and 2 bulging discs in my neck. There were days I did not want to move. I was on pain killers, muscle relaxers and anti inflammatory drugs and could barely function before her. When I say she is a life saver, she truly is, in every sense of the meaning. I’ve gotten my life back, I’ve been able to be there for my family in ways I never would have been able to do. I write this to anyone who’s even thinking about coming here to see her, it takes time and commitment, but I am thankful everyday that I made this decision to come here to Holly. It’s changed my life and hopefully will be the first step in getting you back yours.

I have been going to Holly for 2+ years now. I started as I needed help with planter fasciitis and Achilles issues due to running marathons. Since then I have become an Amateur Ultra Marathon runner in the USA and Europe. I attribute my ability to do these long races due to maintenance work with Holly over the years. When I have issues and flare ups she always accommodates for me to come in so she can work her “magic”! Literally as she has brought me from the brink of not starting a race the next day to finishing! In short I totally recommend her not only for immediate needs but more importantly long term maintenance on your body to avoid major issues! Just recently she prepped me for my longest run in the Alps in Italy! Thank!!

Holly has been a life saver for me! I am a runner and tri athlete whose life really would not be the same if I could not participate in these activities and the community that means the world to me. Unfortunately, after many years in labor construction, coupled with running a marathon a week for a year for charity , I found my self unable to run with out extreme hip and low back pain. Working with Holly I am back in my feet again. Her knowledge is right on point and my pain has disapated rapidly bringing me back to the joy of running, with the people I love!

Holly Green has been the answer to my running prayers!! I had been struggling with hip and back issues for 2 years which prevented me from running the way I was used to. PT, cortisone and pain injections were “bandaids” but my progress was slow and frustrating. I thought my running days were over. And as someone who started running after being diagnosed with MS, I had to find a way to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Then I met Holly….. acupuncture is a treatment I had never tried nor did I understand, but I was desperate. I started going every week, then every 2, then once a month and now I go every 6 weeks for maintenance. I am a true believer in acupuncture and especially in Holly! I am back to running half marathons free from pain! She is an amazing practitioner!!

On April 20, 2011 at 11:30 pm, I was placed into the neurological critical care unit at NYC Medical Center. I had just gone through 10 hours of neurosurgery to remove a brain tumor from the right side of my head. The tumor measured about 1 1/4 inch and was completely wrapped around my 7th cranial nerve. In order to completely remove it, surgeons has to forcibly manipulate my 7th nerve (facial nerve) leaving it in a severe state of trauma. The right side of my face was paralyzed and I could not blink or smile. The lip and eye had sagged and the appearance was identical to Bells Palsy. I wasn’t feeling very good or looking my best. After 4 months of being patient, daily facial exercises and vitamin therapy I sought acupuncture and Holly started treatment. Its been two months since my first visit with Holly and now muscle tone has returned & eye and lip are almost back to normal position. Most importantly, for the first time since April 20th, I have some movement of my entire face. I give Holly 100% credit for my progress, her dedication to assist me, personalized treatment plan and her knowledge of acupuncture are greatly appreciated.

For the last two years, I’ve been suffering from nerve damage after a car accident that caused extreme itching on some of my fingers. I tried every cream, lotion, steroid, and medication recommended by my dermatologist and neurologist. None of the treatments worked. Finally, after several of my friends recommended I get acupuncture, I decided to give it a try, despite my strong dislike & fear of needles. To my amazement, after only a few sessions of acupuncture with Holly, I’m finally starting to get better! I wish I had tried this two years ago!

I have been going to Holly Green for over a year now for various injuries, aches and pains associated with the training for Long Distance triathlons. I find that nothing helps better for sports related issues than a combination of acupuncture and massage. Holly is amazing at both. No matter what issue I have encountered, I leave her office feeling better every time! It is most helpful to go immediately or soon after noticing symptoms of a problem when she can help quickly to avoid it becoming a chronic condition. I would highly recommend Holly Green for any athlete trying to improve performance, avoid injury!

I have been having problems with my lower back and hips on and off for the last 5 years and massages were the only temporary relief I got until I started seeing Holly Green. Who would’ve ever a thought needles in my glute and lower back would alleviate that. Thanks so much for fitting me in on my Florida trips and helping to extend my baseball career that’ has been hindered by injuries. You’re the best Holly!

The truth is, I was never a believer in acupuncture. After suffering with piriformis pain for years, and after several recommendations from fellow triathletes, I decided to give it a try.
Much to my surprise, the pain was alleviated almost immediately. I run pain free now and go back for any acute pain, which always gets resolved. I don’t have time to be injured with all the training I’m doing. You have been a lifesaver!! Thank you so much, Holly!! You are the best and I would recommend you to anyone!!
